The Men's Downhill competition of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics was held at Whistler Creekside in Whistler, British Columbia. The competition was scheduled for Saturday, February 13th, but was postponed due to rain and warm temperatures;[1] the competition was held on Monday, February 15th.[2][3]
The vertical drop of the Dave Murray Downhill course was 2799 feet (853 m), starting at an elevation of 5505 feet (1678 m) above sea level and finishing at 2706 feet (825 m); the course length was 1.929 miles (3.105 km).[4]
